Customer Reviews
Good router but….
Yes, the router works and sets up easily with the set up disk or by using the GUI menu. However, I would point out that neither the PDF manual or the quick instructions actually point out that if you use this device behind a modem, the modem needs to be set in bridging mode. At least I didn’t see this clearly stated and most modems are not set to bridging mode as a default. To the uninitiated, this could be the difference between an effortless set up and pulling out you own hair. I hate to suck away a star for this, because otherwise it’s a satisfactory device at a good price point.
Happy Macs
This little router is working perfectly. I run ethernet cables to an iMac, AppleTv and an Airport Express with zero loss of speed and far superior performance than wireless alone. It comes with a smaller than normal installation CD which wouldn’t fit in my slot-drive, but it was simple to set-up on line – just took a few minutes. I’ve had it for a couple weeks now and have no complaints.
Outstanding price and router
From the time which I received item (which was a few minutes ago) on up to when I hooked it up; My router has performed in top shelf brand new condition. My hats off to the vendor. I rate this experience 5 stars times 2. The price is the lowest you’ll ever find anywhere on the internet; or off.
Very respectfully;
Wilbur Burt
